The Police - Are they above the Law? |

I have always been a supporter of the police believing that they have a difficult task dealing often with the dregs of society. Of course, like many others, I understood that there were probably a few corrupt officers. In July 1997 I changed my mind after seeing things from a different perspective. I now believe that the police (at least the North Wales Police) are riddled with corruption and there are probably only a few decent police officers. I have seen how they operate and I don t like what I see! My son Stephen is now serving 5.5 years (66 months) in prison due to malpractice by the N.W. Police. By pure chance I happened to turn up at his house soon after he was arrested. He was handcuffed whilst a dozen or more officers (plus more outside) were searching his home. Stephen was no threat to anyone but they insisted on keeping him handcuffed. The police officers (all undercover officers) were having a great time laughing and joking at my sons expense. I asked if I could telephone my wife because I was late getting back but was refused a number of times. The police officers were obviously aware that the whole thing was a set-up and seemed to be happy. I later found out that if Stephen had concluded the deal he would have made just over 100 profit. Can you believe that he got such a harsh sentence as a first time offender, especially as he was actually set-up by the police? He was on remand for approx. 1 year as the police and the crown prosecution service tried to sort themselves out. Stephen pleaded guilty with mitigating circumstances on the advice of his barrister. However on the day of his case the prosecuting barrister did not turn up but instead of taking this into consideration by giving Stephen a token sentence the judge said it would be worth waiting for and the case was adjourned for a long time because he (the judge) wanted to deal with the case himself and would not let another judge sit. I later found out that he is the most senior judge in North Wales and that prior to becoming a judge he was the chief prosecuting barrister for the North Wales Police/CPS. In my view, this particular judge should only be allowed to deal with civil cases because he has a past connection with the police and is bound (by human nature) to be biased. So you can see - the odds were stacked firmly against Stephen having an impartial hearing. And this brings me to another point! |

I made contact with an organisation who also have a gripe about the judicial set up in North Wales. Now I cant prove that what the spokesman has told me is correct but as it ties in with what I have experienced I accept it until proven otherwise.
Freemasonry
rears its ugly head. Apparently, here in North Wales we have the most prominent Police Lodge in the country and the Chief Constable is apparently a member. I also understand that the head of the Crown Prosecution Service in North Wales is also a member. Furthermore, allegedly, Judge Daniel who sentenced Stephen is also a member. Now I dont have the resourses/finances to pursue these allegations but I am prepared to accept them in the light of my own circumstances. This is my opinion of how the entrapment occurred. North Wales police have been targeting drug users/dealers in an operation known as OPERATION DRAGON and they want results. Someone informed on Stephen who readily admits to being a casual user of cannabis. A surveillance operation is mounted
lasting 18 months with no results.
Thousands of pounds and a lot of police time has been wasted. Even a police helicopter was used on someone who in reality is merely a user. Someone has to take the blame for this fiasco - but no, there is a better way- Lets set him up! Its no use setting him up for cannabis because he wont get a long sentence for that and weve spent so much time and money on this.
We will have to introduce some hard drugs into the equation to ensure a harsh sentence!
In the club someone might suggest to someone else that we need some results and weve got this chap Stephen lined up. We dont want egg on our faces so can you make sure we get a result. By the way, hows the wife and kids? You must come round for dinner soon!
I could be wrong but I am confident that there is definitely some sort of conspiracy. I was in court when Stephen was sentenced and prior to his case there were two separate paedophile cases. One of them got 18 months
and the second one who had been sexually abusing a number of his own grandchildren over a seven year period got only 12 months.
To be quite frank I was very relieved when the paedophile sentences were announced because to any sane person it would mean that Stephen would get a shorter sentence and walk free because he had served so much time on remand.
But I was so wrong!
When the judge totally discounted the entrapment and passed a sentence of 66 months I realised just how ludicrous our legal system is. Now seriously, which is the greater crime, a casual cannabis user (set up by the police) or a child molester? If you agree with the judge then quite frankly I think you are sick and need treatment. Tell me, are my comments justified or do you think cannabis users are worse than murderers, rapists muggers, paedophiles etc. etc.!? |
