Entrapment in the UK!
Have you or has anyone you know been subjected to entrapment by the police. The UK is one of the few civilised places in the world that actually allows people to be sent to prison if they have been set up by agent provocateurs. My own son was set up by the North Wales police and is now serving over 5 years for a crime that was initially orchestrated by the North Wales Police. He was a casual cannabis user but was encouraged by an undercover police officer to get him a quantity of the drug plus some other drugs (very small quantities). He had no interest in becoming a dealer but was persuaded by the offer of vast sums of money by this man in a top of the range BMW. This was an obvious set-up but the UK courts (especially here in North Wales) do not or will not accept entrapment as a defence. This is not Justice. I would like to hear form others who have been subjected to this injustice.

Police - They need Investigating
How can we get justice in the UK when it is obvious that who you know is far more relevant than what you have done. Take for example Jack Straws son who was an obvious drugs dealer. Did he end up in prison? No, the journalist was apparently to blame for setting him up even though he was known to be a dealer beforehand. In my sons case he was set-up by the police but they were praised rather than blamed even though there was no other proof that he was a dealer. He was sentenced to 66 months in prison based purely on his dealings with an undercover police officer. Furthermore, the judge who sentenced him (Judge H. Daniel) insisted on dealing with the case himself and he was the chief prosecuting barrister for the North Wales Police prior to becoming a judge. Something fishy here! It seems that here in North Wales, apparently, the Chief Constable , The head of the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) and Judge Daniel all belong to the same club (if you know what I mean!) . With odds like that stacked against you, your are not going to win - are you?.
